" There is a hospital on the north coast of Honduras that has
been providing emergency, clinic, hospital, and surgical care to 70,000 people
for over 10 years. I went there to meet the team and see if this was a place I could
work long-term. They’ve been doing surgeries for many years, but only in the
last 2 years have they begun an obstetrics program which includes C-sections. It is so fun to bring gifts to bond a team
together, so besides trail mix, almonds, chocolate, and other American goodies,
I also got to bring KimKaps to help the OR nurses look their best and feel
appreciated! The bright colors and
floral patterns fit right in with the jungle flora and fauna outside the OR
