Medical Missions: Guatemala

A group of about 40 health care providers went to San Raymundo, Guatemala with the group Refuge International Oct 25-31 to provide primary care services and necessary surgeries. That week, the clinic consulted 580 patients and we performed 43 surgeries. Our team was from 6 different states and 3 different countries all pulling together to provide much needed care to the Guatemalan citizens. 3 CRNAs (including my self) from Cleveland Clinic went along with 3 anesthesia students from Case Western Reserve to provide anesthesia for surgeries and learn independent practice.
Thank you so much for donating kaps, the team and patients loved them!!
